1. Despite efforts, asking the hotel staff & the guys manning the info booths on the street downtown for their suggestions, we never really managed to find a cool area of Atlanta to hang out in with good shopping, restaurants etc. However, we liked the Hyatt Place enough to stay at another one elsewhere in our road trip.

2. Great restaurant with good breakfast, 24/7 deli, which has oven baked pizza, etc if you missed dinner.

3. Considering that the convention area offers few reasonable priced places, except the fast-food like restaurants at the Peachtree Mall, this is another nice benefit of staying here.

10. We took the shuttle to a variety of places, including Atlantic Station (which has shopping, restaurants, and a Target) and the Laundromat (I do wish Hyatt Place would have a guest laundry area for us minimalist travelers but the trip to the Laundromat was easy in the shuttle).
