1. Despite efforts, asking the hotel staff & the guys manning the info booths on the street downtown for their suggestions, we never really managed to find a cool area of Atlanta to hang out in with good shopping, restaurants etc. However, we liked the Hyatt Place enough to stay at another one elsewhere in our road trip.

10. As I have never previously visited Atlanta, I wanted to stay somewhere close to the main attractions I could see in a day - Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, etc. When researching online, I stumbled across the Hyatt Place Downtown.
