4. well we my family, have just got back from a fantastic holiday and we stayed at the Port Orleans riverside, was a little bit wary as read some of the reviews before we went, however we found no problems at all we stayed in block 17 in Aligator Bayou which was near the small pool which did us ok and not far from the food court, the room was big enough for my family of 5 which include my 2 year old, the beds were really comfortable and we fitted in quite well, however we did not spend much time in the room, but it was clean and tidy and housekeeping was really good, the food court was ok, after a week you got a little bored so we tried to eat in the parks to try something different, a little tip if you have small children who are picky eaters like my two year old then you could have problems, my little one spent the two weeks on soup and ice cream, i did talk the food court manager who was pleasant, but could not provide me with jelly for my little one, where as you could get it in other places in disney, we did not hire a car as we relied on the disney transport which was good, however like other reviews we did have to wait a while for some buses, it seemed to me like this resort had the longest queues, also this resort is quite big and you do some walking, we loved the boat to downtown disney and we did hire the bikes which was a really good way to see all of the resort and get some excercise, we found the shop really good, and sold most of what you could get in parks in Disney, we did book a character dinner only because there was a cancellation, so I would try and book before you go, we went to Chef Mickey`s in the Contempory Resort, which was great, the food was fantastic and my little one ate really well and the characters really spent time with you, so overall we had a fantastic time, would I go back yes I would without a doubt.
