1. It was not the money issue but the response of the hotel manager that was infuriating .

7. When the gentleman brought our sheets up (night manager) he brought the security guard with him and said here are your sheets and then the security guard continued to say he had received noise complaints regarding our room and if we got one more we would be kicked out.

8. I went down with my husband to check out and was dealing with the night operations manager and she just kept saying how the room had received noise complaints all day (we checked in at 4PM and then left for dinner at 5:30PM and return at 9PM to get ready and go) We were barely there and the times she was saying the complaints came in we were not even in our room, which I did not appreciate as it was now 4am and we had to driver from Miami to Sarasota 3 and a half hour driver ahead of us because they are a crappy hotel.

9. The National was undergoing construction (in the words of the manager it was a 'construction site') and the rooms did not pass the city inspection.
