1. The only good thing was the lovely brazilian girl at the front desk, while managers seemed unapproachable and too busy to talk to guests, the beautiful clerk had the warmst smile and made our check out a lot more pleasant.

3. I went down with my husband to check out and was dealing with the night operations manager and she just kept saying how the room had received noise complaints all day (we checked in at 4PM and then left for dinner at 5:30PM and return at 9PM to get ready and go) We were barely there and the times she was saying the complaints came in we were not even in our room, which I did not appreciate as it was now 4am and we had to driver from Miami to Sarasota 3 and a half hour driver ahead of us because they are a crappy hotel.

4. You should also go next door to check out the lobby at The Delano--intensely surreal.

5. The rooms were in complete disrepair with peeling paint, tiles missing in the bathroom, rusted fixtures, etc. This, combined with a musty smell throughout the rooms and common areas led us to check out within an hour of checking in.

7. One of our party was told there was no reservation and when she finally got a room it was only for *some* of the nights, they wanted her to check out a day early.

10. Not sure what their daily/weekly valet service is but we were there one evening (Sat night), check out Sun and were charged $35.
