1. my friend & I got caught in this & ended up spending $143 for the 2 of us!the food was great but I didn't expect to spend so much for 1 meal.

2. The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast in the lobby which was everything one would expect including waffle maker; all foods were fresh and appetizing.

3. -they say they have pool access at a sister hotelCons: -Nice rooms but a bit small for 2 double beds - but who cares-Even numbered rooms on lower floors face a wall, but fine for 1 or 2 nights Restaurants: La Ventana - Columbian - on Washington and 8th?- great prices$10 - $12 for dinner, interesting food-The Big Pink on 1st.

7. Restaurants as other reviewers have indicated before, are rather pricey, in fact higher than some Manhattan exclusive clubs, but you can go to Espanola Way for very good Italian and Mexican food and music.

10. If you are looking for a hotel that is in the center of it all, a short walk from everything you could possibly imagine (a variety of bars & clubs, great food, the gay beach, the straight beach, and fantastic shopping) then this is where to go.
