1. I purchased the tickets and we left 3 days later :) when we arrived to the Aruba airport we were planning on taking a cab to the hotel but to our surprise there was a guy holing a sign with our names who said his boss the manager of a car rental place was a friend of Edwardo Duran from the Ritz in South Beach and had complimentary transportation for us (we did not even rent a car ) we arrived to the hotel and started to check in when the girl at the desk saw our name went to the back office and got a manager we were a little concerned but the manager asked us 'so you are friends with Edwardo?' I reluctantly said yes and the guy said 'then you're family' and upgraded us to a suite!we ended up extending our stay 3 more nights and had THE best time of our lives.

4. We were upgraded to an Ocean Suite which was BEAUTIFUL, enormous, very clean and extremely comfortable with a balcony big enough for a party.

5. I was in a suite here, and had a great room, great size, excellent bathroom, living room etc.Staff were very friendly, and always happy to chat and be of help.

7. I would say 90% of the time the system would not work and we had to go DRIPPING WET IN BATHING SUITS INTO THE LOBBYfor them to try and rekey our keys again.

9. I complained and was shown a number of different rooms, eventually we settled in an ocean view suite which was fine but was told the regular rate for this room was $1,300 - I would have been very disappointed if I was paying this amount.
