1. It overlook the city and we were gratefully surprised with how soundproof it was, no noise at all coming from the street.

2. The location of the hotel can't be beat - on the street side it's on Lincoln with lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance - and on the beach side you have an amazing beach and the boardwalk, which we put to good use many times a day.

Not truely 5*The location is perfect right on the beach with direct access to the lovely beach promenade for walking and jogging and a short less than 5 minute walk to Lincoln Road Mall (which is actually a tree line pedestrianised street) full of shops and decent middle of road restaurants, some with open air dining.

We meet friends in the pool area and they said these things that were absolutely amazing that no other hotel would ever do:1) They needed speakers so they could play their I-pod, so the pool employees went down the street to radio shack to buy a portable i-pod docking station for her so she can play music by the pool!@.

5. The concierge directed us to several really great restaurants near by and, darn, a 24 hour Walgreens right across the street for those silly little things one needs at random times.

7. To get to the hotel you constantly have to walk past panhandlers outside the drugstore across the street, it got old after a while.
