1. You really can not complain about the price because it is like that all over South Beach.

2. for real, big portions, 1/2 the hotel or less priced, still high, but the best price around and it was 50 yards from the hotel, also STARBUCKS right next door, attached actually.

3. I know it looks a lot cheaper on paper when comparing prices, but make you sure double check the amenities you get at this hotel versus others.

5. Stayed at the South Beach Marriott with 4 girlfriends for my bachelorette party- the main reason we picked this hotel is because they'll accomodate 5 people in one room at a reasonable price (under $400/night), and because of the pools/hot tub/beachfront location.

7. I recommend going to 'Big Pinks' 2 blocks from the hotel, which had good food, large portions and a good price.

8. The hotel is right on the beach and umbrellas and chairs are available for a fee but, Marriott can not be at fought for the price.
