Was in regular contact with Nicole Marshall beforehand who was extremely helpful in securing us a good rate (price match), she waived the resort fee, she arranged for a fridge in the room free of charge, and as I had told her that we were visiting for my daughter's 10th birthday, on arrival, Nicole kindly left a gift bag on reception for her containing a birthday certificate, birthday card, photo frame, packs of cards, and a Tropicana luggage tag and T shirt.

6. I am a blackjack player and the one thing I would like to have seen was a single deck table but other than that I still won money the one time a played there so I can't complain:-) All-in-all we had a good experience especially for the price($70/night on one of Expedia's Specials) and would return.

We chose the Trop because half of us are unemployed and nowhere else in Vegas can you get hotel a) with rooms priced below $65/night if you can get a special (and otherwise $80 which isn't bad)b) that is really modernc) that is right on the stripd) has a nice pool areae) with fantastic restaurantsThe reservations team was really friendly (thanks Nicole Marshall and everyone working on the front desk) and honoured the best price match guarantee when we found a special about a month before our arrival.

8. We stayed at the deluxe room where the rooms were best at average with a fridge and safe, we weren't expecting too much because of the price we paid but its better than any hotel 8.
