2. We slept in on our first night and we asked the maids to clean our room after we had left but when we came back that night, it wasn't made.

There were some rooms that faced inward to a courtyard (and other rooms on the other side of the courtyard) and we spied one without a window (walking past when the maid was cleaning it) and that would have been a bit unappealing so you might like to do as we did and ask for a room for a view when you make your booking.

5. What was commendable was that when we got to the room the sink was not draining properly, we did not report it that day as we were eager to get out on the town, however, it seems that when the maids came to clean the following day, they got it fixed without us asking.
