1. Overall:If you are on a budget, not overly fussy and and looking for a hotel directly across from Waikiki beach with amazing ocean views and right in the midst of action - this hotel is a great choice.

2. The room had its own airconditioner which was great so you could control the temperature to suit you but we never used it as we enjoyed the fresh ocean breezes.

4. Think size-wise hotel room in Europe with old style motel room furnishings but with beautiful ocean views.

5. There were only 3 rooms in each level that directly fronted the ocean and I liked that because it gave us a pretty good sense of privacy.

8. Situated right on Waikiki Beach opposite Dukes statue, we were on the seventh floor and had a fantastic ocean view.

9. We stayed on the 3rd floor and later upgraded to their new Deluxe Ocean View on the 9th floor of this wonderful hotel (13 to 19 Dec 2010), I must say that the unblocked ocean view was fantastic.
