6. We had to meet SpeediShuttle across the street due to the closure and even the bellman was very concerned about helping us and offered to find a way to help us get our luggage across the street.

7. We rented a car from budget across the street for one day and it was great to drop the car off and walk across the street back to the Ilikai: LOTS OF EASE staying here.

10. Not a sound was to be heard once inside the room - no TV, no flushing toilets, no chichat from the room next door, etc. A bit of noise from the street but we soon grew accustomed to it.
