1. Also wanted to mention that there are lots of bus stops close by, and a really reasonable car rental place across the street from this hotel (I think it is called Thrifty rentals).

4. The rooftop pool/patio area (about 2 floors above street level) were nice, clean, and well kept; they were also kid friendly.

5. A nice Thai place across the road with a Tony Romas down the street, otherwise not much else close byshopping is a bit of a walk to the designer stores on Kalakaua avethe hotel is good 3 star for a couple of nites if you don't mind not being on the beach.

6. Even though I am in a corner room on the first floor (which is 2 floors above the ground) and facing the street I have not been bothered by noise.

7. The Outrigger Luana website should provide far more information about the noise that is generated on the street below, particularly the motorcycles and the gas station below.
