4. Location allows bus tours, walking to entertainment and restaurants (great food at Keo's and Vit's), but if you are a beach lover, try the other Marriott at the other end near Kuhio Beach, because the waterfront hotels rope off their sandy areas.

6. Obviously the focus here is on tourists, but business travelers will appreciate the open lobby and availability of a business center with plenty of terminals, meeting place and food and convenience shops.

8. We had a delicious pizza takeaway from the downstairs restaurant with discount on showing room card, but plenty of eating houses in the region, great shopping at the International market, food and alcohol available next door at ABC Stores and bus services and trolley cars available out front.

9. The streets surrounding the hotel were very safe and had many 24 hour ABC market stores as well as other take out restaurants which was great to bring the food back to the room.
