4. The rooms are so comfortable--pillow top mattresses, four pillows, white duvets; sofa; work area with desk and chair behind a half screen; in-room coffeemakers; showers with the typical hyatt Portico bath amenities.

5. There is an old TINY pool on the 4th floor overlooking nasty government housing rooftops, as did our 'balcony view' The rooms had carpet that was decades old with more stains than I could describe, the beds were as bad as I have ever experienced with one flat pillow.

8. Listen folks, this isnt a luxury hotel, but weve passed through Waikiki on the way to other islands numerous times and although aged, its a economical place to lie your head on a pillow while you vacation.
