Being off the main
street
of Waikiki was good in terms of not being too busy, however if you want to be right amongst the action then choose something else.

As hotel is on the far west side of Waikiki and it backs onto a busy
street
, traffic can be heard along with jets taking off from airport - but not completely unpleasant.

There was a thai restaurant across the
street
along with an indian restaurant (the food is fantastic, the service is least desirable), buffalo wings place and you can easily order pizza hut or papa johns (they delivered to our door.

street
, Ala Moana, which runs parallel with the beach line of Waikiki.

We could see that the Ala Moana (big mall) shopping center was across the
street
(catty corner) and the Ala Moana Park was across that ('next' to the hotel).

Parking:If you rent a car, you have at least 3 parking options - valet ($21 per day), self park in the hotel parking lot ($15 per day) or
