1. I booked our room off the hotel website, after getting a discount code which made the lower summer rates even better.

2. We had planned to stay in Sedona for two nights, but when we called the Royal Palms to see if they had availability for that night, they gave us a great rate that wasn't much different than the dull Sedona hotel, and we gleefully raced back to Royal Palms.

6. We got a super great rate given the off season stay, but the one thing that really bugs me is the $28/day 'Resort Fee' which is crazy, just include this in your price b/c this is not an optional item.
