3. The room was extremley crammed, even by NY standard, one very small window,with no view, other then a brick wall, the furniture and fixtures, were old and dated, and carpeting was stained.

6. While there is a terrible view (typical NYC narrow street 'canyon' with trash on the sidewalk each morning) it was only a block from the west entrance to Macy`s and about two blocks to the Empire State Building.

7. Our room was at the back of the building with a dull view of another building, but it was perfectly quiet, which is good considering the constant traffic and siren noise in NYC.

8. The view and the street that the hotel is on are not particularly inspiring but then that is not what you are going to New York for I would assume.
