1. The location was OK, but I would recommend you stay at the Doubletree Suites on 7th at Times Square, an excellent location and wonderful friendly staff.

3. We were placed onto the 16th floor and the room was a bit smaller than we expected for 3 people with double beds but it was very clean, spotless and suited us fine.

5. The room was lovely (we had a penthouse suite top floor with balcony) I can highly recomend one of these rooms, the bed was huge, the aircon whilst noisy in the day time was suprisingly quiet at night.

6. Typically, we stay Embassy Suites or equivalent hotels I stayed at the Wingate for 4 nights with my wife and three kids (ages 8, 6 and 2).

7. I have certainly stayed in better properties in the same price point (try the Staybridge Suites on 40th between 8th and 9th for an amazing hotel stay).

One other important thing to be aware of (and it took me putting 4 requests into Wyndham corporate to get a non-canned answer) is that you get ZERO credit/points if you book a Wyndham hotel on any of the travel websites like Expedia or Travelocity, etc. The Wyndham website lists all of the hotel brands it controls - in addition to Wyndham they control the Ramada, Days Inn, Wingate, Super 8, Microtel, Travelodge, Howard Johnson, Baymont Inn, Hawthorn Suites and Knights Inn brands.
