We do the white sock test and have asked them to clean our carpets, replace our shower head because they are 20 years old and have no pressure ie: maintenance man says ' some rooms have new shower heads', look under the bed to see if they have vacumed only to find old sandwiches and stuff and pull the sheets off to see if thier are bed bugs.

2. While this hotel is old, it is clear they have tried to make some updates - new countertops and sinks in the bathroom/wet bars, nice linens/beds, and rounded shower curtains - and it was very clean.
