1. The shower also changed temperatures and scalded me so bad, some of the skin on my leg got burned.
"If you don't enjoy sleep or comfort, stay here " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/2/2010 Vote
2. 1) a pathetic shower that has difficulty maintaining a constant temperature; 2) rooms that are too hot (of course you could open the window, but you better like bad 80s rock from some club across the street with its own unique charms); 3) no elevator for luggage (though they did offer to help with luggage); 4) having to deal with a place that is both a rock club and a hotel, two things that are kind of mutually exclusive; 5) the restaurant was of uneven quality (poached eggs clearly not being within the kitchen's skill set).

3. The only part I did not like about my stay was the lack of water pressure in the shower.

4. If staying in a dump with no air conditioning (in the low desert, mind you), nonexistent water pressure in the shower, stained carpets, cheap soap and shampoo, plastic cups for water (which I had to beg for), and no television seems charming (even at more than $80 per night in a place with low living costs), then this place will suit you just fine.
"Overpriced Dump " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/15/2007 Vote
5. Also our room had the smallest shower ever- nowhere to run when the water turned scalding or freezing, which it did frequently (I ended up with 3 bruises from hitting the faucets).
"Cute but loud " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/11/2012 Vote
6. No TV and no shower.
"Never again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/1/2012 Vote
7. 'The boiler's broken' doesn't cut it, not when you're continuing to accept and charge guests who expect at least a warm, if not hot, shower.
"Unbelievable that they are in business " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/18/2011 Vote
8. The sink and the shower worked well enough, but the water pressure was lacking.
"Older hotel, great character, location, and food " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/17/2010 Vote
9. Hot showers are out of the question.
"If you want to sleep, don't stay here. Old, Outdated, and Overpriced. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/2/2010 Vote
10. Expect the shower to jump from hot to cold and back again.
"Eat, drink, catch a show and stay the night. Hotel Congress has it all. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/22/2010 Vote
