3. They are carding for the club, and one fellow suggested we walk around the hotel to the front so he would not have to escort us through the lobby.

4. It's pretty close to 4th avenue (10/15 minutes walk) which is also rather tragically hip, and there are some good cafes, bars and restuarants on its side of the railway tracks.
