1. The lobby, and the beautiful art in the Tap Room bar just show a respect and love of the area's history.

4. The lobby is reminiscent of times past with old switchboards and phone booths (remember them!) It's an old lobby of an old hotel.

5. There are a few bottles of free water in your room when you arrive and between the wonderful Cup Cafe, the Tap Room and the lobby bar, you can always get any food or drink you may need.

6. There was a Bloody Mary Bar set up in the lobby/lounge on Sunday am, where there was live music and bar tops inlaid of backgammon and checkers for added fun.

While generally the desk staff has been as helpful as ever, evening experiences with extremely RUDE staff in the lobby (who were very harsh to our guests who just wanted to get a drink with us in the bar but were accosted by said staff for a cover (we weren't in or going into the club) sat badly.

10. They are carding for the club, and one fellow suggested we walk around the hotel to the front so he would not have to escort us through the lobby.
