This is the second time we have stayed at the Ohana Waikiki West - convenient having food pantry next door and close to beach - 'free Trolley' as well - free 15 minutes long distance calling daily - staff was not overly friendly but the our rooms were clean although the showers need to be updated - the elevators are slow but we got lots of excercise walking up and down although we were only on the third floor - we had requested a room not facing Kuhio/pool side/bar - so was quiet - the only real complaint we had (didn't notice last visit 2 years ago) was the 'time-share' free breakfast EVERY time you walked in - one particular fellow was extremely aggresive - having free wi-fi in lobby was OK as we didn't need to check our emails constantly -.

10. From the smell in the old worn out hallways to the incredibly cheap, hard beds to the cigarette burns in the rooms carpet, the drunks hanging around out front with the prostitutes, the mold in the grout in the shower and around all the vents, the old painted & chipped furniture.
