2. Given the crowd in Honolulu, with the Asia-Pacific Economic Conference, having lots of dignitaries plus their staffs, I was surprised and pleased at the VERY reasonable rates offered by the Ohana.

PRO; affordable rates, cheap for the area parking, 2 blocks to waikiki beach, across the street to the international market place, lots of great but affordable dinning around, freindly helpful staff, free stuff (like free in room high speed internet, free in room safe, free calls under 15 min to Canada and US), back of hotel nice and quiet.

7. ohana west was the single worst hotel expierence i have ever had the rooms are sub par at best the staff are utterly rude you cant even bring a friend up to your room without being treated like a criminal the rates are way off for what you get i would strongly advise anybody to stay away from this or any other outrigger establishment if you want to send your kids to boot camp forget it send them to ohana west.

The Hotel includes free local calls and free long distance in USA , this made it easy to book things etc and has Free Wifi in the lobbyAll in all its a good hotel near food and shopping, The bus stops closeby and the Waikiki 'Pink' line Shuttle stops right outside and is included in the hotel rate , great to to Sears / Wallmart/ Ross Dress for less.
