1. That made the shower small and awkward to get into around the sink, and the width of the toilet area was only inches wider than the toilet itself (use your imagination as to the problem).

4. The Beacon is a older hotel, but it seems overall to be pretty well maintained, yes there was a little painting touchup work that needed to be done and yes the shower faucet was lousy, but the rooms, hallways and entrance were all very clean.

7. The rooms are set up strangely, the closet was a pole strung up in the bathroom, the toilet and shower were crammed into a tiny closet, which smelled like smoke -- most likely left over from the earlier days of the hotel because they hadn`t replaced the ceiling tiles in about 40-50 years.
