6. Parking fees are confiscatory: use the Metro (it goes right to Reagan AIrport and pulling luggage on the Metro is not too weird.

7. Lastly, if you ask them to call you a taxi, don't be shocked when they call you a town car which, while the cash price is comparable, will not take a credit card without a 10 percent fee.

8. Paying for internet above and beyond the room rate, even when the total price is competitive will prompt scrutiny for the traveler in getting reimbursed for this fee.

9. The bellhop personnel were very friendly and the hotel offers valet parking (the fee was waived so I didn't have to pay the $29).

10. Our room (#613) was huge with a nice bed, a sofa, 2 TV, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, etc. And we only paid $123 including taxes and fees.
