5. I've had mold in one bathroom ceiling, no hot water, water stoppage mid-shower, really cheap shower heads, torn shower curtains, plugged up toilets, hard to control air conditioners, on/off internet connections, broken lights and everything else I'm forgetting right now.

7. Lengthy check-in, dirty bathroom, poor restaurant service, nobody picking up the telephone in room service, 25 minutes for an ice tea in the lobby bar; I started believing in the end that it was just me being impatient, but all my colleagues had the same experiences.
