1. The bathroom floor was filthy and the tiles looked like they have never seen a mop.

2. My first room which was on the 3rd floor had a pleasant looking bed, but the carpeting was old and dingy, the bathroom was small and looked like the original from 1975, and somehow they managed to put Fred Flintsone's television in the room as well.

9. When we arrived at our next hotel I realized I had left my grandmother's necklace (who passed away when I was 3) and my mother's ring my father gave her as their 1st wedding anniversary gift, on the counter in the bathroom.
