1. The room was so tiny and the bathroom even smaller.

I also assume someone was smoking inside of their bathroom (to avoid triggering the smoke detectors in the room), because the smoke was once strongest inside of our bathroom, and there's a vent above the shower which I assume is connected to other units adjacent, below or above us, where smoke came through.
