1. All be it the room and view did not have the ambience that we normally like to enjoy but it suited our needs at the time.

3. There is an excellent steakhouse underneath the hotel called Chuck's Cellar which has great food, good service and live music, suited to older people, (we are in our 50's) played most nights, better on Fri and Sat.

6. This hotel suited my purposes very well - I went to Honolulu to see an old friend I hadn't seen in 36 years so I spent little time in the room.

7. The lady working the front desk was very friendly and advised us that we were receiving a free upgrade to a suite, and even gave us a gift for each of our kids back home.
