The best part, even though we were close enough to walk, Pacific Shores Inn is far enough away that the late-night nightlife
noise
was undetectable.

As long as you don't stay at the couple of rooms in the hotel nearest Mission Boulevard (street
noise
can be distracting in those 2 rooms) then the place is very quiet and laid-back.

Whatever you do, do not stay in a room on the south side of the hotel because the
noise
is twice as bad.

But at $189 per night, it's definitely not a bargain because there's so much
noise
and ruckus going on you won't get a good night's sleep and definitely won't be able to nap during the day, especially if you keep your window open to enjoy the cool ocean breeze.

You are a couple of blocks away from the bars of 'central' PB too, so quiet, save for the
noise
of the waves crashing on the sand.

The
noise
from the second story rooms could clearly be heard in the downstairs rooms.
