When we got there no one was at the front desk and we found a maid outside who went in and got a key for us which we were a little concerned about (isnt the manager supposed to do this?) the room was really humid and had very bad air conditioning but it did come with a box fan, and the floor was really sandy but i understand this because you walk outside and the whole parking lot is covered in it.

9. The manager was elusive with me which I didn`t appreciate, but he did talk to someone who worked there and said he would give me a discounted rate at the other property he managed - The Holiday Inn in La Jolla, which turned out to be worlds better.
