1. I always stay at this hotel when in San Antonio - it has a great combination of a good location (right beside the Alamo and riverwalk), good hotel features (free breakfast/evening snacks), and good room features (great kitchenette, good sized rooms).

6. In the morning we had breakfast (nice waffles, bad coffee, limited selection of yoghurts), It is puzzling why all Marriotts in the USA have bad coffee, in contrast to Europe, where you can have espresso, and drinkable coffee.

9. Breakfast was ample with varied hot and cold choices including waffles in the shape of the state of Texas- we didn't make any of the evening socials but if they were anything like the breakfast I'm sure they were good.
