2. Things we loved: the one-bedroom suite was spacious and actually WAS a one-bedroom, meaning you could close the door and have two separate sleeping areas; the staff were friendly, fun, and very helpful, to the best of their abilities; there was a kitchenette in our room, with fridge, sink, microwave, coffeemaker, etc.; the breakfast area was one of the best we have ever had for a 'complimentary breakfast' area-- the food was very good and the staff who ran it truly cared that you enjoyed it; the location is great-- it is truly one block to the Alamo, about a half-mile from the Riverwalk (if that's too far for you, it doesn't matter because you will never survive walking on the Riverwalk, anyway!); the easy access back onto the interstate to go touring-- literally three left turns and you are on your way; the peace and quiet-- we love giant hotels like this, as they are made of concrete, not plywood, so you don't hear your neighbors, especially the ones above you.
