1. My sleep quality was not great due to noise level outside on a weekend night, not much the Paramount can do about the nightlife.

3. We were given a spacious 10th floor room with a lovely view and a king size bed, and were told by the very accommodating staff that if there was a problem with noise we could have a room on a higher floor.

4. The higher the floor, the less the outside noise so be sure to get a room up high if you can.

5. Really the only noise was from outside - being in the middle of a downtown it's to be expected and the windows in the room aren't that soundproof, even 12 floors up.

8. The bedroom door was very heavy, but it sure blocked out unwanted noise, and when we called down for extra coffee, I was glad to be able to check the peephole before opening.
