I really liked this location as it was away from the constant
noise
of Bourbon Street, yet very close to that and everything else in the quarter.

Pierre is that it is so close to everything, but just far enough away that you don't get a lot of
noise
and ruckus.

The hotel is quiet, set off from the
noise
and bustle of the Bourbon Street area; however, it is within easy walking distance to the main attractions in the French Quarter.

Location not bad, noisy A/c did keep the room cool, and the white
noise
of the units certainly kept the room soundproofed from traffic.
"Fallen on hard times, neglected, has lost a lot of its charm and potential. "

The walls were paper thin, and we got to hear every last
noise
from the escapades the guy next door had with his new found female companion.

It's a short 10-minute walk to anything you might want to see in the French quarter, but two blocks away from where all the
noise
comes from.

Both nights we were there, we did hear some of our neighbors come in late (and drunk), but the
noise
didnt last too long and I think that's the best you can hope for if you want to stay in the French quarter.
