I didn't realize it at first but insisted we change rooms when I did (my husband stayed the first night by himself while I was with the bride and he didn't notice much of anything by the time he got home from the bars!) When we expressed a need to change rooms, the guy at the front desk offered to put us in a smaller room for the same price or put us in a larger room for more.
