Across the street from the main hotel building are some creole cottages with names like 'The Jolly Roll Morton' suite, etc. DO NOT accept these accomodations without an inspection first:the floors sag, the bath fixtures sag, budget-shower curtain liner, and the general run-down appearance of the 2 rooms.

3. the only problem we encountered was our shower not working, but taking baths worked out fine for the 5 of us.

4. There was a large gap under the door to the outdoor courtyard area, the white paint on the tiles and the tub floor in the bath was chipping off exposing the original pink coloring.

5. Maybe if this hotel charged $50-60/night one could understand the indifference, incompetence, sub-par rooms/baths, dirty, dirty bedspreads (I had to remove mine entirely and cover the blanket with 2 clean sheets - I was terrified of what/who had been on top of the thing).
