6. My room was not renovated, mold on the ceiling in bathroom, carpet stained, heat not able to regulate, no secure lock on an outside door to the swimming pool - not good for a female traveler alone.

There is a small room with a commode and shower, and a sink outside (warning: behind the sink is a mirrored closet - which accidentally revealed my behind to housekeeping staff when they knocked on the door after I got out of the shower :) Again, the main room and bathroom were both extremely clean.
