1. I also agree with comments about noise from above floors in particular - the friends we were travelling with said it sounded like the people above them were rearranging the furniture until around 1am - so try for a high floor.

8. We did have one night of thoughtless girls giggling quite late into the night but that's not the hotels fault, I have stayed in much more expensive and newer hotels where the noise tends to travel.
