1. Brace yourself when the go over Mulholland Drive after the scenic stop lol Venice Beach was a great time but we did get a lot of venders asking us if we wanted to buy their music or needed a 4:20 prescription.

The breakfast they provided were wonderful and i loved my stay there so much i even cancelled my booking at another hotel in venice beach and went back to the orchid suties for my final 2 nites in hollywood , the computer they have for guest to use was great to keep intouch with family and friends at home.

4. Tourist buses just a minute walk from the hotel which take you to Beverly Hills, Muscle Beach, The VIper Room etc and shopping on your doorstep.

5. The Chinese Theatre, Stars on Hollywood Boulevard etc, the Train (Hollywood and Highland) so we could get to Universal Studios quickly and easily (one stop!) and the bus which we took to Venice Beach and also Rodeo Drive.

6. There is also Budget Rent-a-Car across the street where then we rented a car (3-days) for trip to Disneyland, Santa Monica Beach, Griffith Park, Farmer's Market and other places.

We stayed for four nights, the rooms are basic, but the location is great, close to Metro buses (straight forward to reach Santa Monica/Venice beach) & subway (one stop to Universal Studios) and right next to the Hollywood Blvd/Chinese theatre etc.Also for the low price the free extras of wifi Internet & breakfasts were great.

9. You can also drive to Beverley Hills, Venice Beach, Disney etc. It's really handy.

10. We had a car and really relied on it to get to the other great sights in the area - don't miss the Getty Centre or the Griffith Obsesrvatory, a closer view of the Hollywood sign or the people-watching on Venice beach.
