1. I understand this show was at the Plaza Hotel downtown and for some reason they fired Joey (which was a dumb move).

2. We like to go to the strip and downtown so the Sahara is right in the middle basically and it is easy to get the Deuce and to hop on the monorail.

3. LIKED: price of room, location (close to downtown), free musical entertainment (band was pretty decent), pool seemed decent but never got to use it so can't say for sure.

4. So if you like downtown, than the Sahara is in a good spot but taking the bus takes forever to get to the middle of the strip b/c bus it seems to take forever to load the people on and off the bus.

5. Pro's-connected to the monorail, which is excellent for getting downtown to the strip-cheap, very affordableCon's-smelled old-sometimes food was on a tray and left outside people's rooms for a few days-not the cleanest place, lots of stains on the carpet and curtains-buffet wasn't that good, but it was cheapOverall this wasn't too bad a place.
"Pay for what you get! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/22/2009 Vote
6. It was at the very end of the strip but once again it was connected to the main monorail line so getting downtown wasn't that much of a hassle.
