Valet
parking
is expensive, some others who attended the meeting drove to the Larkspur ferry station, left their car there and took the ferry over which was cheaper than
parking
at the hotel.

Valet is ridiculous ($50/night) - street
parking
is available but you must be very savvy, as overnight
parking
options are dictated by street cleaning patterns and the patrol is out around 7am to catch any late sleepers and give them tickets for expired meters.

I found a street
parking
space in front of the Hyatt from about 10pm until 7am the next day for free.

So, I used these great Android apps (search for San Francisco
parking
) to find the best deal on a
parking
garage in the area and the other app was to determine which blocks had free
parking
at different times of the day.

The $45.00/day
parking
fee was a little over the top but the
parking
service was excellent and we never had to wait for our car.

And this is only Valet
parking
, so with tip it is more like a $50
parking
fee.
