4. Our room had a beautiful view of San Fransisco and was very very spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom had everything you needed but no bath however it was fine - just after a long day of walking i wanted a nice soak.

5. Last year we stayed downtown and found ourselves too tired to get motivated to make it far from our spot at night, while this year we were out most evenings, getting some entertainment, nice breezes and views, and reasonable (touristy) food that was easy for all kids to enjoy.

8. Near the water, restaurants, tourist activities, cable car stop, ferries, street cars to CBD, piers etc. The hotel is only 5 floors high to blend with its surrounds yet we still had a good view from the 5th floor.

9. San Francisco transport is excellent it all runs often and efficiently and a great way to take in the sites and fully experience riding the city buy it hanging off the Cable car or sitting in comfort and taking in the views.
