1. The parking is better at some other hotels in the city (valet $40) but you can't beat being this close to China Town and Union Square.

3. taxes on valet are high but that's not there problem add almost 6 bucks to 40 dollar parking.

4. I was hoping to find somewhere with a reasonable parking surcharge in a nice part of town, but that apparently just isn't much of an option without a lot of pre-planning, and 4-6 weeks isn't enough to do that.

10. We had a hire car the first night as it was the end of our trip, and it took over an hour to get it from the parking garage once we requested it.
