We did have a great nights sleep (no
noise
whatsoever) and the journey to Universal Studios the following morning was only 5 mins in the car so it's well placed for that.

Location of this hotel on Hollywood Boulevard is great - we stayed there on the weekend of the Grammy Awards with large party's being held in the reception area on the Saturday night there was no problem with
noise
or inconvenience - this hotel very handy to all the tourist attractions with the subway right next door.

The problem with this is that we could hear horns honking, sirens from emergency vehicles, and other traffic related
noise
s all night.

The only down side to my experience was the amount of street
noise
(emergency vehicles and such).

We also couldn't work out whether it was the heating, aircraft or metro
noise
, but there was a
noise
that seemed to come and go every ten minutes no matter what time of the day or night.

However to pay for a room and have the
noise
be provided by the hotel itself is just silly.

I was passed on to Alex (I believe that was his name) and he immediately rectified the situation by moving us to a quiet room on the 10th floor away from all the
noise
.

I asked him if he could send someone up to check out the
noise
and he told me we were the only people to ever complain about this room.
