1. During the last half of our stay, the noise was not a problem, but the first 2 nights there was a basketball team staying in the rooms across the hall, and going back and forth to the elevators and hanging out in the hallway.

9. The El Cortez is long past it's prime but gives you a great value for the price and is not right on Fremont Street, which is a bonus (less noise and street hustlers).
