1. For ourselves, we like winding down with a quick walk back to the hotel after being in the main Fremont area.

3. The location is at the end of Fremont street and is handy to visit other down town hotels etc. I had not been down there in years and it is much different the the strip (Seedier I suppose), but we had fun were able to walk to many casino's which was fun.

4. Keep your head up, your best don't mess with me scowl on your face, avoid eye contact, walk fast and of course do not stop to conversate.

8. The Cortez was favorable to me, because of the price and the location, this is our second time to Vegas, I lean toward the downtown side of Vegas, We walked out the casino doors, head north about 1 block and your in the downtown area, nice set-up for us, all within walking distance.
